Hi GLAMDolls I have some exciting news to share with you ladies. I was entered into the H&M Fifty States of Fashion Contest. I am beyond excited and as a new blogger I’m even more appreciative of the opportunity. As a lifetime resident of New Jersey it would be my honor to represent my state in this contest. This means more to me than just winning a contest, this is a opportunity for me to make my mark in the fashion industry. So here is how it works, my photo was uploaded via my Instagram and was then selected to be placed on the H&M site. Once on the site my photo needs to get the maximum amount of votes in order to be chosen for New Jersey.
Hi GLAMDolls, today’s blog post will be short and sweet. I am functioning on little to no sleep and the time I had to catch up I went to Forever21 and shopped the biggest clearance section I’ve ever seen in my life. I spent literally 5 hours in the clearance section alone because there were so many inexpensive options. It wasn’t only summer wear, I picked up six blouses, four pencil skirts, and a host of casual wear tops. I was in the zone like a lioness hunting her pray and in this instance it was $5 shirts and $10 dresses. I have some gorgeous style options for each piece and can’t wait to style them and share them with you.
Hi GlamDolls today I’m posting one of my favorite color combinations, black and white. I think I’ve learned to love these colors because that has been my work attire as a hair stylist forever. I prefer all black in a salon since white tends to get a little messy when your doing red and blue highlights all day. Since I now have a new colorful wardrobe I wanted to go back to my roots. Black is not only slimming but is chic and can be dressed up or down. So today that’s what I did, this look can be dressed up with a simple evening clutch or dressed down without the red lip and ballerina flats.
Hi GLAMDolls, todays blog post is a continuation of yesterday post, featuring my husband Kevin and daughter Ariel. This past weekend was my 29th birthday and I celebrated the entire weekend. Saturday we went shopping all day long ,watched movies, and had a romantic dinner for two, which was also at home. Sunday was church service and Sushi night. My husband wanted to go out for my birthday but I wanted to just relax and enjoy the day with my family. So that’s what we did, I had him pop in a Stouffer’s lasagna and our favorite fake wine( Welch’s Grape) and enjoyed the night listening to music and slow dancing. It was the perfect end to a perfect night. I had a perfect day and the shopping I did was amazing.
The sun was shining in my eyes, look at that facial expression!
Hi GlamDolls today’s post is very special to me because it includes some very special people close to my heart, my husband Kevin and daughter Ariel. It has taken me forever to get him to post with me but we finally did it. I wanted to feature him as well as my daughter on my blog because let’s face it, it’s a family affair and nothing is more GLAM than family. Yesterday was my birthday and I went on a crazy shopping spree and had a great ole time. I have never shopped as much as I did yesterday. But I will fill you GLAMDolls in on that shopping trip later this coming week. I have started styling my husband just to get my feet wet with men’s fashion and I think we are doing great so far. He’s even learning how to shop the clearance racks and never pass up a good deal. Fashion rule 206, never neglect the clearance racks.
Hi GLAMDolls, this summer I have been loving the printed and textured shorts I’ve seen in varies stores, they give the traditional summer shorts a touch of whimsy. I decided to add them to my summer wardrobe. I have been searching high and low for basic white casual shorts and can not seem to find them in my size or they are cut to high up. I’m not shaped like your average fashion blogger, so I need just a few more inches of material! While searching for basic white shorts I stumbled across these white and blue flower shorts at my favorite store, H&M.
Today was mommy and daughter day at the park and I wasn’t in the mood for wearing my usual play clothes. You know, the clothes you wear when your toddler is running around and playing in the dirt, comes and wipes her hands and feet all over you. Yes, this mommy has play clothes as well. I wanted to keep today’s outfit casual with a light touch of GLAM, so I added some high heels. Imagine the looks I received from the other mothers in the park when I pulled up with high heeled shoes and makeup, priceless lol. Any who, today’s look was simple yet chic and reminded me to stop and take an extra couple of minutes to make myself look and feel good. My first priority is my daughter but I have to constantly remind myself that I am a GLAM mom and I need to stop and smell the flowers, with high heeled shoes and a touch of glitter.
Hi Glam Dolls, today is very dark and gloomy here in Jersey so I wanted to brighten it up a bit. I recently made a pit stop at my local H&M store and they had a huge clearance sale which included 50% off already marked down items. Of course I couldn’t pass that up so I went shopping, and a pit stop turned into 2 hours of bargain hunting. Today’s outfit is a result of this shopping trip, enjoy.
