It has taken me a few weeks to get back into the swing of posting more fashion here on the blog. As much as I love it, the task can sometimes be daunting for me. I am not your ordinary blogger. Being a mother of two with the work and school load that I carry can be difficult at times but this summer I am finally getting a handle on prioritizing my schedule for my blog and me time. I recently have come across a handy little device that has made fashion post so much more convenient for me, ugh. It’s so dope yall, I can’t wait to share it with you. Of course, I need to take pictures of it for the blog lol. Lately I have been really interested in exploring my city to find hidden gems I didn’t know about. Since I’m from the inner city I was raised to mind your business and keep it moving. Unfortunately, this philosophy has carried me into my adulthood and I usually don’t notice or care to seek out things that aren’t necessarily on my radar. Again, this summer I plan on changing that.
One of my goals is to find a new restaurant, park, museums especially, or local historical attractions in my area and visit them. That’s exactly what I did in today’s post. I went to my neighboring town and explored the down town area. I just so happened to be wearing a dress, high heeled schools and carrying my camera (insert my smirking face). I’ll forever sing lady in red. This dress fits like a glove and is quite breathable. The tie up string detail on the sides adds just enough flare. Red has always made me feel a tab it more flirty and sassy. I just walk different when I wear it. As I write this, I can imagine my mother in law shaking her head. She does’t care for the color per say but I happen to love it. Nevertheless, I’m planning on taking a step back to smell the flowers and watch them bloom this summer. Life for me moves so fast and I really want to take the time to live in each and every moment.
