Let’s talk hair shall we. Now if you happen to be new here, hair and hair care is my passion. I have been a licensed hairstylist for over 15 years and a salon owner for 6 years. I love creating different looks for myself as well as for my clients. Today’s hair tutorial was so much fun for me as I used a technique I haven’t done is many years. It’s called “Crimping” and it a structured waving technique. Crimps come in many sizes and typically for me they are done using a Marcel iron which is heated in a miniature stove. Old school I know, but in my opinion is produces the best results. You won’t be using any of these items to achieve today’s look but as I said, I’m old school.
I’m aware this is not the best method for at home use but it’s what I’m used to. So, when looking to recreate this tutorial for you all who want to achieve the look I went to Amazon to find a tool everyone could use. The hair I’m styling in this tutorial is by Her Hair Company. My previous hair tutorial HERE showed you how I took hair extensions and colored them to this ash blonde color. Which I happened to love by the way. I bleached this hair three times and it still has so much bounce and softness. I wanted to also show you some of the dimension in the hair color by adding waves. This look is very easy and fast. I think it would be perfect to jazz up your holiday looks and formal parties this season.
