Today I want to share with you my once a year hair tutorial. Ever year I blow dry and silk press my natural hair so I can do a length check as well as a trim. Typically I try not to add heat to my hair unless I’m using a blow dryer or doing a deep conditioner under a hair dryer.  In today’s video tutorial I will show you my updated silk press. I also recorded myself doing a silk press on my hair last year and that video has already hot over one MILLION views on my Youtube channel. Talk about surprised that many people wanted to see me do my hair, I was stunned.  I also share with you all of the new products I am using on my hair.  I also have a detailed listing of all the products used below.  In the event you would like to watch my previous silk press video from a year ago I will also list it below.

Hello dolls,
I have truly missed blogging and doing my fashion post but as you know I have been busy with the newest love of my life. As you know I have been awaiting the arrival of my newest addition to the family and she is finally here.  Her name is Leah Nicole Haskins, born 6/18/14 at 8:43 am 6 pounds and 9 oz. I am so over joyed by her presence and she had truly made our family complete. Today makes a week she has been in this world. As I look at my two daughters I can’t imagine my life without them. I also know I won’t be getting any sleep no time soon ha ha! So without getting to emotional and writing a complete thesis on my second born I will just post a couple of pictures until I am able to do our professional family photos. I miss you guys so much and I can not wait to start posting on a consistent basis again.

Hi Dolls, I know it’s been a long time coming but today is my first maternity fashion post. I decided to wait because my baby bump has offically started to show. I’m so excited and cant wait to meet my little bundle of joy.

Since we have had a ton of snow lately I decide to take advantage of the opportunity to blog in the snow covered weather. Today I paired my favorite color (black) with more and more black. I think its a beautiful color aganist the snow and keeps me very warm. Enjoy

I have been extremely busy planning my daughters first birthday party. With every thing that I do I its big and over the top. With this being her first birthday and so very special to me and my husband I had to devote all of my time and energy to every little detail. Her theme was Ariel’s Candy Land and me and my husband dressed up like the candy land characters to give the full effect. I hand made decorations and party favors as well as food and candy buffet. Yes my daughter had a candy buffet, and with only a couple of teeth she wasn’t able to eat any of it. I spend any free time I had try to make sure this would be a birthday to remember. I have to say me we had a great time and my daughter was enjoying her self as well. I pulled out a special surprise at the end of the party that no one knew was coming and lets just say the kids went nuts!  I don’t want to write a thesis paper so I’ll just post pictures and I think you will get the point. Enjoy Dolls…
