This weekend I ended up finding a jacket and a winter coat I forgot I even had. Go figure. They were hiding in the back of my closet and just waiting to see the light of day. It’s an amazing feeling when you shop and rediscover long lost gems hiding away in the deep dark areas of your own closet.

I’ve always wanted blonde hair. For a short time, I had highlights in my natural hair but I was still in beauty school, and let’s just say I had a lot to learn. My hair was in the sink and shedding like crazy. I stopped working with color until I learned all the basics and found a way to regrow my hair. This is also one of the many reasons I am so passionate about healthy hair.

So one day I got the bright idea came to me to try a blonde pixie hairstyle. I wanted to go shorter but only temporary. Usually, when I go blonde it’s with long hair such as in this video tutorial here. You will learn really quickly that I love to change my hairstyles often. So this was the best of both worlds. There is something almost magical about creating a new look. I feel like Cinderella every time I change my hair color. I’m ready to put on a ball gown and walk around the grocery store lol.
